RON HALVERSEN: Hi, Ron from Clarity. This video will demonstrate a few of the workflows from a client project where we design and build a custom member portal on the Clarity eCommerce platform, integrating the portal to both an Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP via EDI. This video will show the portal and demonstrate our bidirectional ability to pull statements and B2B invoices from their internal ERP systems and push invoice payments back. Although not shown in this video, typical Epicor and GP integrations are connected to those applications APIs and can pull additional data such as product catalogs, inventory, pricing tables, B2B invoicing and payments, user registration, returns, order and tracking statuses, and much more. To begin, Bleyhl Farms runs a co-op for farmers in Washington. This co-op provides benefits for the many farmers by combining their purchases and more to obtain better buying power discounts, allowing the co-op to purchase on behalf of many locations. Each location pays a membership fee, gaining access to those benefits, and then they can manage their membership and purchases through the portal. There are some members and groups that belong to or own multiple farms. So, we added the capability upon registration to purchase and register more than one location. Once you're registered, you can log in and it gives you access to private information, including your invoices and monthly statements for all your locations. Under my account, if I click on an invoice, you can see that it opens up a fully formatted and addressed invoice ready to fold and stick in a windowed envelope. All the formatting for PDF and print was done by Clarity in the eCommerce portal. In the filter panel, you have a dropdown which you can see and filter your farm's documents that you want to load. You can also see the legend on top showing you which invoices for what, along with a tertiary filter menu on the left, date, invoice number, and status filter across the top. Next we'll click on the monthly statements where we can download and view our statements. Again, you've got a dropdown filter to select which farm or location you're wanting to view. As with the invoices, the monthly statements are all brought in and populated via and EDI integration. Epicor and GP provide the sales data combined into export files that are either imported directly as statements or parsed, read, and posted as individual invoices. Clarity worked with the client to set up the directory structure for the statements, where our Connect process scans picks up and associates to the appropriate account in the portal. We also set up the FTP queues and credentials for the invoice import files for inbound integration and outbound invoice payments coming from the portal. EDI connectors can be coded to speak many different protocols for different XML, cXML vs XML, XLS, or CVS file formats. Integration jobs can be called in real time, such as posting an invoice payment when it's made or scheduled such as checking the directories every 30 minutes to link and post inbound statements. For the invoice payment, one unique feature that Clarity eCommerce platform offered is the ability to see all of your outstanding invoices and make partial or any amount payments, so those that manage multiple properties can quickly and easily pay multiple invoices quickly. Everything is tracked in the portal for their records and all synced back to Dynamics GP for the integration. To set up the integration for EDI in eCommerce, we created two separate integration jobs. The first picks up and links the monthly statements. You can see here one of the directories that are scanned for the statements. It also picks up the invoices import file, parses, and posts the invoice into the portal. A portal module and custom template provide the print in PDF formatting of the invoices. So, to review what we saw today, we started with a quick explanation of the custom design co-op portal that we built and it's functionality. Next, we logged in and show that via an EDI eCommerce integration, we accepted and posted invoices from orders combined from their GP and Epicor ERP systems. We then showed a second ERP integration, scanning, pulling, and linking their clients monthly statements from their server. Finally, we showed how users can filter, fine print, and pay their invoices online, which sends those payments back to Dynamics GP via and EDI commerce integration as well. So, that's a quick demo of Clarity Connect, integrating a custom membership portal to a Microsoft Dynamics GP and Epicor ERP via EDI. Thanks for watching.
