Supplying a National Fast-Food Chain More Efficiently Austin, TX — September 14, 2021 — Clarity Ventures announced today that it has partnered with OOBE to increase the efficacy of its ordering system with one of the nation’s largest fast-food chains. While the name of the chain is not yet able to be released to the press, the system is already up and running. Clarity worked with OOBE and worked directly with the fast-food giant’s team to determine its needs for over two thousand locations. OOBE helps supply the fast-food giant with supplies—namely uniforms—for nearly all of its locations. The new website offers the restaurant chain improved opportunities as a buying group to place orders for each franchise location. “As you can imagine, each of the different franchises or locations may have different ordering requirements, different items that are offered, and different ways of presenting them,” said Ron Halversen, vice president of sales and marketing at Clarity Ventures. “Users within particular franchisees are presented with an overall improved database that updates OOBE’s offerings from [the fast-food giant’s] master set of data. So OOBE is getting ordering information from the restaurant’s primary ERP system to give to the Clarity eCommerce Framework (CEF), providing needed product information for this buying group’s franchise locations.” Clarity president and CEO Chris Reddick describes the technical aspects of the project. “It’s implemented in a way that they're getting real-time ERP updates that are getting pumped into this enterprise marketplace for franchisees to use. All the purchases and logistics are then executed so that the end-user has a seamless experience. They log in and order what they need, and this is then automated back through the ERP. This makes it so that the restaurant’s buying group, and OOBE serving them, can scale and continue to grow operations.” Group buying platforms aid growth so that OOBE can continue to further automate and make their self-service even more powerful, in addition to the functional capabilities with major improvements, to administrative interfaces, and capability improvements with the integrations. Franchise-specific access points can have sub-stores if a manager runs more than one franchise location in a certain area, allowing them to order the same supplies for every store. Clarity performed a major overhaul to OOBE’s user interface and will continue delivering updates and iterations as the platform continues to see growth. About OOBE Founded in Easley, SC, in 1994 by Tom Merritt and Mike Pereyo, OOBE began as an outdoor lifestyle apparel brand and was soon carried by outfitter stores in all 50 states. In the early 2000’s, we further utilized our apparel design expertise by fulfilling design-build contracts for other clothing labels. This expansion opened the door for us to begin creating strategic branded apparel programs to outfit the employees of many industry-leading companies. Alongside these programs, we also carry a classic American menswear label, OOBE BRAND, and in response to the challenges of COVID-19, we launched OOBE HEALTH to better serve our clients and our community.
